Our Story
Simon has a sound joinery background, having served in the Royal Engineers and trained at the Royal School of Military Engineering, the training he received was extensive.
He worked with dozens of varieties of timber and learnt the benefits and limitations of using both hard and softwood.
He practiced using sanding sealers, waxes and oils on his work and took immense pride in everything he produced which ranged from doors and windows to oval mahogany coffee tables and drawers.
Over the years Simon worked in workshops and site work.
It was during the first lock down when the cogs were set in motion to strike out on his own in his own workshop producing high quality furniture, creating his mark in the market and his own range of products.

We are confident that our products are robust enough to last a lifetime we recommend using a clear wax annually to reinvigorate the lustre of the wax finish.

All our products are handmade from the carefully selected pine at our local timber merchant and are hand-finished to the highest standard with beeswax products which will bring out the outstanding rustic characteristics of the timber.

Our Timber
Our items are all natural wood so they may arrive with cracks, splits, knots, and uneven edges, this is our rustic style, so when ordering we would recommend ordering items together if you are looking for a good match as the timber is all natural.
All our timber products are interior grade timber so it is suitably seasoned for use as furniture in your home.
Our supplier imports FSC Certified Northern Scandinavian Pine from 100% sustainably managed forests, Scandinavian Pine is grown for longer in colder temperatures giving the wood more strength and less prone to warp.
